ok also in the mix if this would work i would like to put 4 Boesemani Rainbow but im not sure if the angels would have a problem with those lol

You're getting rid of all the Convicts, right?
Dojos are temperate water fish, but they have been bred to accept higher tank temps. The max temp of their preferred range is 77 F. If you're set on a Dojo, you need soft, small, smooth substrate. They are burrowers. Whether or not they do better in pairs, I'm not sure. In the store I work at, the ones we have don't really pair up and hang about together.
Angels prefer 75 - 82 or so. If you get a pair and they breed, be very careful about the other tankmates, as they are aggressive when breeding. Sexing is difficult to do, especially on young angels. I would personally suggest just getting one. Do you plan to breed angels?
A Bristlenose won't "attack" your Dojo, per se. If you get it young and it matures within the tank, it will stake out a territory and quickly the Dojo will know what's what.
For other tankmates, go no smaller than the larger sized black neon tetra, as the angel with make a snack of anything smaller. In fact, livebearers such as platies are good choices, as they create a supplemental food source for the angel.
Gouramis apparently work, as they are slow moving and too large for the angel to consider food. If you want your angel to be the centerpiece, gouramis can be left out.
Guppies I would be less sure of. Steer clear of barbs. Anything known as a fin nipper is verboten.
A school of bottom feeders, such as more of different types of loaches, or perhaps cories, would definitely help fill out your tank nicely.
Angels are huge fans of a planted tank, but Dojos are habitual burrowers. My kuhlis and my HF loach cause my plants to uproot quite often, so you should try to figure out a way around this.
Hope I helped.

EDIT: Boesemanis would work. Try to find a fine, dark gravel. It will make the colors of your rainbowfish pop, and your gold Dojo will light right up.

I really want dojo loaches too, but I can't get them because they need colder water than tropical fish. There's a good article here:
http://www.loaches.com/species-index/weather-loach-misgurnis-anguillicaudatus
This article says that they need to be kept in a minimum group of three, because they like each other's company.
I've always wanted to have a cold water tank of just dojo loaches and a big school of white cloud mountain minnows.... But, even if you switch to a cold water tank, I don't know if your 55 gallons would be big enough for three or more dojos--I'm sure someone else here can give more info.

Depends on how long and wide the tank is.

yes im getting ride of all the cons . my girl doesnt want me to but o well im tierd of thim being jerks lol . well ill probably go with fake plants seeing as this is my first bigger tank . and i fugred if i out the rainbows in with the angel whin they are both small they should be ok i read taht the certain rainbow i want gets 3 in. but i was also told that rainbow fish would be to active for my angel and may make it timmid and no i dont realy plan on breeding any angels maybe latr .
