Hey guys so today while I was bailing water out of my pond I realized that I still had fish in there...(thought everything was dead) I grabbed my net and scooped out 4 rosy barbs.... three females and one long finned male. So I don't know what to do I put them in m 29 gallon after making sure they where healthy. I was fairly shocked to find them since I forgot I had them.... I bought these guys like maybe 7 months ago. They are still alive and kicking.... I have no idea what to do... I'm getting a new tank for my birthday but that's in June..... I don't want to get ride od them..... so should I just keep them in my 29 tall tank then move them top my larger tank In June or what?

I would say a few should be ok in a 29g depending on other stock. If you want to stock them in your bigger tank though it certainly wouldn't hurt.

I had a similar experience yesterday. I neglected a 20L for a few months and went to clean it up and do a nice water change yesterday. Found a whole colony of yellow neo shrimp still thriving in there. Several berried females too.

Heh, so did these guys go all winter in your pond? If so, very hardy fish. Personally I always find it fun to realize a fish you thought was dead/gone/eaten/ext was actually just snickering at you with the other fish every time you turned your back :)

Wow, cool looking tank!!! I like this story too, it's cheezy
