Hi I own two freshwater tanks one is a 150 gallon and another is 29 gallon. My 29 gallon has a ph level of 6.0 and I can't seem to raise it therefore the 5 fish i have in there are ok but i can't seem to introduce any new ones. How can I raise the ph level and keep it steady?

Welcome to AC!

Because even though my nitrates, ammonia levels seem to be good the last four fish I have tried to introduce into the aquarium have died so I am thinking it must be the exceptional low ph level.

I have the same 6.0 ph in my 75 gallon. Fish that are in the tank already are fine, but I have a similar problem when introducing new ones. (especially sensitive ones like cardinal tetras). I'd drip acclimate new fish for an hour or more so they get used to the ph slowly. Much better survival chance that way.

no I don't have any driftwood and I make water changes at least every 7-10 days
