What is the best way? I am trying to give my Angels a nice soft pH, but my tap water is 7.5+! Peat is an option, but I really don't want brown water. Sodium Biphosphate is a temporary fix, and very flawed. So what can I do? Help mw, aquartist studs!
:(

Sorry for the newbie question, but what is RO and how expensive/practical is it?

For a tank that will house Angels I'd use live plants and add CO2. That will lower your pH. What is your KH? Have you ever tested for that before? It's just a measure of your buffering ability to stop pH swings. I don't know how much you know about aquariums, so I don't mean to tell you this if you already know what it means:) (you said you were newbie)

add some drift wood
