Now that 5 is over I have some things I think need changed.
Its not fair that the mafia only get 3 investigations to figure out 14 players roles. While the innocents got unlimited investigations by 2 people. Either the mafia get unlimited, 3 per mafia member or the innocents should also only get 3 for each investigating player.
Also maybe a mafia snitch can be added? Just throw 1 extra mafia player into the mix, of course only the snitch knows he is the snitch. Every night they PM Rb with who they want to snitch on and if they are lynched it comes out to the townies. This way the mafia must kill off one their own and hope they get the right one.
A daytime hit by driveby would be nice too so we can take out a player either for being a role player or just to cause confusion among the townies. In this case the identity shouldn't ever be revealed.

Another thought...There were to many non votes, there has to be some kind of penalty for that. If you can't manage a vote or to even post you may as well not play.

Though harder for all, I really like the number of 24 for players. I really debated hard whether to go with 4 or 5 Mafia players this time.
The reason I limited the Mafia investigations was because they know who all the innocents are. Pretty good chance you will identify the Det or May in three investigations. If the Det and May find each other the first night, the two kills for them are a bit much. That almost happened this game, but right before the end of the day, thet both changed their investigations off one another.
I didn't get to use Dead Men Tell Tales since the game ended so quickly. I would have used Secret identity tonight.
As for the unexpected post....I'll never tell, nor will they....:dance:
I think the unexpected post was used when Zman said he wasn't so sure of DD as being mafia. He had been on top of her all week, it was so out of left field I was sure that was it.

C) a traitor

For a normal game, there should be about 1 mafia per four players. For every major character the innocents get, there should be either a minor character for the mafia or another team member. For every two minor characters for the innocents, the mafia should get a character or another member.
Major characters: Detective, Mayor, Don (as detective)
Minor Characters: doctor, vig, traitor, Don (as innocent)
I've also noticed that the mafia teams are waaaay too aggressive around here.
It's so cool being mafia that they have to play. That just makes it obvious.

I liked the 36 hour days.
I think the Don should come up as innoecent and the mafia should have one extra person.
I think there should be no after death posts and any that are posted are deleted ASAP.
I think on the first night, if the town votes to lynch NOBODY, then the mafia hit has a 50/50 chance of failing.
