Does anybody know of a good mail order site for saltwater livestock that ships to canada? I haven't been able to find them, even with endless searching of the net. The local stores here aren't really good so thats why I'm asking.

There are a few that ship within Canada, but having SW fish shipped into Canada is a big undertaking, as may sellers have minimum orders of $250+, and the cost of shipping, inspection, permits, and taxes can easily run $250+ on even one box of fish.

I've already found that out, and should have worded my post diferently. Shipping within canada is what I'd prefer.

Thanks cheech!

There is also Big al's....

I am not sure about the stuff that they ship, but J & L aquatics is a very nice store. I live in Vancouver and I go there quite often when I need to get new fish. Nice and clean place with affordable prices.

Iv'e already found big als, and gone to thier store in london. I'm looking for live stock, big als doesn't ship livestock, and thier store is too long a drive away to bring fish home from IMO.

Note: I tried bringing freshwater fish home from london when I was out there a long while back, most of the fish died within a few days of being in our tank.

Try Gold Aquarium in Calgary...easily some of the best fish and prices anywhere in Canada: http://www.cichlids.ca/ ...they ship anywhere in Canada, and if you want reviews, drop by the East Coast Aquarium Society forum...they just finished their 3rd or 4th group order from Golds, and could not be happier.
