I have a 20 gallon tank with 2 female Mickey Mouse platies and 1 red wag male platy. Lately he has begun to follow one of the females incessantly. He's not chasing her. He just goes wherever she goes. She's already pregnant, so I'm wondering if he's got lovin' on his mind or if he is simply waiting for her to deliver babies so he can have a fresh meal. What do you all think?

if you have room try get a couple more females. males wont stop trying to breed. ready to pop or not.
I put another female in yesterday. Maybe that will take some of the pressure off the one he was hounding. It'll give him a couple more to choose from.
