Manx cats ROCK people! My husband and I(yay! We've been married for 2 months now:)!)have a CUTE big manx named Sammy. He's so cute without a tail. Don't worry! We didn't cut it off! That's what a manx cat is! A cat with no tail! What kind of cat is your favorite?

P.S. no I don't feed Sammy my dead fish:P

Russian Blues, for their character. I don't have a cat right now, but my last one was a Russian Blue, by the name of Mouse. :) She was by far my favorite of all. Sweet, cuddled often enough to be a pet, but independant enough to be a cat!

LOL ! Why NOT ? :D

I have seen manx cats...they're pretty cute without the tail. I had a grey cat we called Rags...because that's just what he was like. He NEVER put his nails out or bit his whole life...the only cat I have ever known to be so gentle with his claws and teeth ! You could pick him up and toss him over your shoulder like a mink stole..and he'd just lay there looking pleased with himself...lol...

If I could have another cat like that I woudn't care what breed it was..!

I had a grey & white Manx cat named Balazar, he was the coolest cat ever. If I had my scanner hooked up I'd post some pics of him. He was sweet and cute and batsh*t crazy, and I loved him to pieces. Because of him, I learned never to give up a pet for any man. No man who doesn't love my pets can be with me.

I had a black and white manx and he was the best cat I ever had. He was also huge. Not fat just really big. I used to let him outside sometimes and one day he disappeared. He was the greatest.

hmmm.... I've never had a manx so I can't resally say but I'll bet they are wonderful. I do fancy the Maine Coons though. I've had 2 in my life and they are such good cats. A little on the crazy side as kittens, meaning actually looking like ricochet rabbit as they race around, hanging from things but when they do settle as adults, they are such big babies.

My ability to breath is bothered by cats, but I hear the russian blue or siamese arn't as bad for people that are alergic to cats. My wife so wants a cat, but as we are renting I don't have to deal with that just yet.

Dangerdoll, how big were your main coons? I understand they can get quite large.

My husband had a maine coon before we got married. He lived in a trailer house and he said that you could hear his cat walking down the hall. It weighed at least 20 lbs.

I like most cats. I haven't bought a "fancy" breed yet, simply because there are so many homeless kitties to be adopted. We've got two plain old american short hairs right now. Absolute dolls.

Someday, though, I'm going to get something like an Abyssinian or an Egyptian Mau and name it Ramses. Maybe get a female too and go for Nefertiti.

I've always liked Bengals, Ocicats, and Maine coons. Really there isn't a cat breed I don't like the look of in same way (though the Curly Devon Rex isn't too high on my list). I even like Sphynx cats!:D

I like well-behaved cats. I don't want one that bites or scratches for no reason. Both of mine act more like dogs than cats and I love it.

Bengals are my favs...

but I'm with leo, I'll probably stick with the good ol' american shorthairs cause so many need homes.
