Market for guppies that are actually purple instead of bluish gray?

My daughter would LOVE purple guppies. Might make me get off my *** and set up the 29g tank that is gathering dust...

Guppies are pretty easy to mail =] I'd love to take your culls and that undesired male off your hands if you are willing to ship =]

I have the first drop of fry. Some are golden and some are gray. What a mess. I've got my work cut out for me.

Tried to put the misfit male with a killifish overnight. He must have tried to hump the killi, because he was dead in the morning. My bad. Lesson learned. Guppy not equal to killi.

Killi.. its name has KILL in it!!! O.O

lol j.k

Nice looking guppies for sure!

The first batch of fry are on the verge of coloring up. It was the females' first drop and there are only ten total. But they have grown quickly, and this new second drop has been massive. The two females are cycling in sync and have dropped on the same day two cycles now. But this new batch is bigger, somewhere in the thirties. Same diversity, grays with a few golds mixed in. Since they dropped that batch without having been fertilized, I felt it prudent to put them with their brothers again for a re-up on the DNA. The silly boys chase each other instead. Pics to come once the fry get more color!

Wow, great looking guppies. Would love some myself. I put in a guppy with a killifish once. The killifish was completely docile the whole time I had him and had been around smaller fish without any problems. As soon as I put the guppy in the tank the killifish literally had the whole guppy in its mouth.

The first batch is coloring up and looking just like the parents. For sale locally at $3.00 each. Near Everett, Wa. PM me if you want some!

Great! I am setting up my 20L once the holiday rush is over. I dont think i'd want to ship fish right now anyways, too great of a chance it will get lost with all the holiday stuff. Send me a PM with price for a trio shipped to 53029 and hopefully i'll have my own purple guys to start off the new year!
