I have a 45 gallon tank with 8 tiger barbs. Can Hatchet fish go with them? How aggressive are Albino or Red Tail sharks? Can loaches go with sharks? Thanks for any help.

hmmm... im not sure about this one. You can take a look at these websites to see for yourself. (I would do it but I have to study for my 8th grade final exams for the semester. )

Well this is all the help I can give you right now. I hope it helps!

The hatchets and barbs should be okay, since the large group of barbs will tend to pick on each other more than other fish.

Red tail sharks can be very nasty--to the point of killing other fish. I've not had recent experience with the albino, but the behavior may be similar. I have a rainbow, and he only targets fish that are the same shape, like CAE and SAE. Other fish are chased away from his cave, but ignored otherwise. Mine is in with puffers, and I may end up removing him to prevent the puffers from being injured.

Loaches can hold their own, but I would avoid mixing loaches that are shaped like the sharks.
