I have a tall hex tank that I have three marbled crayfish in. It measures about 20" from gravel to water line. I would love to add some fish. Would danio's be a good option? I understand that marbles may catch or kill fish. I figured that the tank is tall enough and that danio's are pretty fast. I also understand I may lose some fish. Thanks!

Nice prawn! They go after slow fish not fast ones like the Danios. I think they stand a reasonable chance of survival. I have one with Giant Danio, Blackskirt tetras, Serpae tetras. Have been in there 6 months and no loss of fish. I make sure they are well fed.

Thank you! I've been keeping them fed enough that they don't even bother the MTS anymore. Any idea's on an algae eater suitable? I've limited the lights down to 2-4 hours a day and still am getting algae on the sides because it sits a few feet from a window (that I know keep the shades down almost all day too to help.) If not I just need to use my scrapper next WC. The MTS try to take care of some of the algae but it's rather a long track up the tank!

Thanks again! I think I'm going to add about 6 danios and go from there.

I have had great luck with otos when it comes to eating algae, but I'm not sure how the cray would play into that idea :/

Thanks! Yeah I'm not going to add any algae eating fish. I felt the algae and it's too hard I think for most fish anyways.
