Looking to get my turnover rate a bit higher.

I'm looking at either Maxi-Jet w/ Hydor FLO Rotating Deflector or at the Koralia Pump One.

I think it's better to get two "lower" pumps than one really strong pump. I donno.

Anyway, I've read that the Koralia is pretty good. Just looking for additional thoughts.

I appreciate all your help!

Anything larger than a nano and I'd go for the Koralia 2 or 3. The Koralia's push very dispersed stream type movement and you don't have to worry about a single jet overpowering whatever it's pointed at. Get two of them and mount them on opposite sides pointing at each other. It will create random flow all over your tank. I'd recommend two Koralia 1's if your tank is less than 25 gallons, two 2's for 25-54 gallons and two 3's for 55 plus. Get two 4's if your tank is 90 gallons+

I would go with the Koralia, would probably look better and take up less space in the tank. Just my thoughts.

I got a 90G. Already have a maxi-jet in a corner. I'm at ~1200gph now.

So... the gobies, wrasses, etc won't be "thrown" around with two 1200gph pumps (one on either side)? I just don't want it to be TOO much... that would be my luck, LOL.

Here's why I ask:

Small fish, baby fish, and betta tanks need a very slow flow rate. It can cause much unwanted stress for them to swim in the current all the time.

I don't know what's classified as a "small" fish, but that's why I'm asking

Thanks for the great answers!

Notice reef tanks are noted as needing more flow.

Ok...

So, I'll remove the other power head. Get two Pump 4's and put one on the right... the other on the left. They'd be a few inches from the top and dead center. I'll point them SLIGHTLY downward.

That means:

Return pump: 975
Pump 4: 2400

Total turnover: 3,375 gph

3,375 / 90 = 37.5

My total tank volume is turned over 37.5 times. Wow... that's HUGE.

That is a great turnover, if I may however make a comment on placement.

I would put one in a lower position towards the back, and one in a higher position in the front. This would allow flow in the whole tank rather than just the top portion, it will also allow the water to flow in a more random pattern which is also a good thing.
