Hi there, I thought I'd try this, my gold Gourami is having issues, looks like cataracts. Please see pertinent information about the tank below!

How long has the tank been running?
- Since March 12, 2019.
Does it have a filter?
- Yes - Fluval 306 canister filter
Does it have a heater?
- Yes. Fluval submersible 300w.
What is the water temperature?
- 73.9F.
What is the entire stocking of this tank?
- 5 harlequin rasbora
- 4 giant danio
- 3 Dwarf rainbow
- 5 cherry barbs
- 1 gold gourami
- 1 electric blue crayfish
Maintenance
How often do you change the water?
- Once a week.
How much of the water do you change?
- 30% to 50%
What do you use to treat your water?
- Seachem prime
- Aquarium Coop easy green all in one Fert
- Aquarium Coop iron.
- started with Melafix when I noticed illness
Do you vacuum the substrate or just the water?
- I vacuum the substrate 1 or 2 times a month, and just siphon the water the other weeks.

Did you cycle your tank before adding fish?
- Yes.
What do you use to test the water?
- API Freshwater Master Test Kit.
What are your parameters? We need to know the exact numbers, not just “fine” or “safe”.
- Ammonia: .5ppm
- Nitrite: 0ppm
- Nitrate: 10ppm
- pH: 6
Feeding
How often do you feed your fish?
- Once a day.
How much do you feed your fish?
- One small to medium pinch of flakes with a small amount of blood worms for the fish
- one to two algea wafers a day, with occasional zucchini slice, carrot slice or a few shrimp pellets for the crayfish.
What brand of food do you feed your fish?
- Aqueon tropical flakes for fish
- Marineland Tropical wafers for crayfish
Do you feed frozen or freeze-dried foods?
- Hikari dried blood worms
- Aqueon shrimp pellets

How long have you had these fish?
- Gourami 1 year
- Rasboras, cherry barbs, danios, loaches, rainbows - separate times between 7 and 9 months
- Electric blue crayfish 6 months
How long ago did you first notice these symptoms?
- About 4 days ago
In a few words, can you explain the symptoms?
- I have only notices it on the Gold Gourami, she looks to have cataracts, and has a grayish film all over her.
Have you started any treatment for the illness?
- I started dosing the tank with Melafix
Was your fish physically ill or injured upon purchase?
- No
How has its behavior and appearance changed, if at all?
- I believe she is a bit more lathargic, but she is eating and going to the bathroom still breathing at the top of the tank, but I'm the 4 days, it does jot appear the melafix has done anything to help.
