Agree 100%! I had an HRP male with a cloudy bad looking eye (love play with his missus or a run in with the driftwood...) and dosed for about 4 days, and it looks almost normal now! Love that stuff - and the human version is everywhere in our house - burns or cuts in the kitchen, athlete's foot, bruises, even used it for a crushed hand for hubby when he hurt it badly at work - next day hardly hurt at all. Amazing stuff all the way around - no fish lover should be without it! Glad your fishy is doing so much better :bday:

A Mela/Pimafix cocktail saved my tank from disaster. When I first stocked it, two of the fish PetsMart sold me had some nasty fungal issues that manifested themselves within a day or two. After losing two of the fish and seeing the others getting lethargic and even flashing against the rocks, I started the treatment and not only did I lose no more fish, they perked up like crazy and have been thriving since. It's been two weeks without a loss now and everyone is doing wonderfully.
I think Mela and Pimafix belong right next to dechlorinator and test kits on a standard fishkeeper's shelf of essentials.
