The smallest one is still smaller than the bloodworms lol
One I know is a young male, hes getting more black marks and hes got an attitude with his fellow melons lol

They do look boyish, redder red & blacker black. Whee, that 1 looks tiny...& maybe male? Do you chop up some bloodworms for him? He needs to catch up...

I got 6. They will get around 2.5-3 inches so figured 6 may be a good number for a 55 gallon. They also have 6 cherry barbs in there too.
I offer a mix of frozen foods and the usual flakes and pellets plus baby brine shrimp as a treat. He eats the smaller bits just fine. He's maybe about half an inch long?
So my number of melon barbs is now at 12. Got another group

Very lively group, theyre beginning to come to the front of the tank when they see me thinking I have food for them. One male is getting darker coloring.
Apparently she thinks sand tastes bad lol
the tiny one has doubled in size.
Definitely a boy here, hes already showing hes the boss and likes to bother the ladies.
