MFK... who's a dual member?

duel member here. you tend to get more experience and info over their they also have a way better market place. over here tends to only be snails, shrimp and smaller fish. over ther tend to be bigger stuff, go figure

We don't compare. As I see it, MFK does specialize in monster fish and may have better marketplace but general husbandry still adds up which is why AC is here as a bridge across two other sites.

That's the way I look at it too. I like MFK for the ridiculously large fish and tanks, and AC for the smaller stuff.

Mfk may have some extremely knowledgeable members, but it also has enough trolls to populate all of JRR Tolkien's books. You'll probably never find me on that side of the fence, as being strongly allergic to stupidity, I break out in hives every time I read a MFK thread.

Member of MFK too, spend most time here at AC. I found that some MFK members have attitude problems,AC seems to have more friendly conversations. I kinda got tired of asking a question like whats a good cichlid for a 75 Gallon at MFK, and getting a stupid answer like my filters over 100 gallons,maby make a wet dry filter out of it.. Whatever,a 75 isnt MONSTER but its not for only guppys either..Egomaniacs.. lol

I'm on both but i only use mfk for the marketplace I'm not into most aggressive carnivorous fish and it seems that's all i see over there.

on top of that i love the community over here even when we have different thoughts and beliefs we still are friends willing to help one another.

AC vs. MFK no contest....To put is simple Like AC, HATE MFK...every time I visit MFK I feel a bit more stupid.

I belong to MFK, but mainly just for the classifieds, lol. I don't have any really large fish at this time, and my tanks would be considered diminutive by most of the members there (especially my little 2.5 invert tank, lol.) I have found some good reading over there.
