Ever since a fight with a wrasse that I got rid of, the Midas Blenny has been swimming along the top of the water and bobbing at the surface. Sometimes he starts to swim erratically like hes going to jump. I have eggcrate on the top. Is this normal?

My bicolor blenny acts a bit crazy sometimes, zooming across the surface, swimming circles along the back glass and sometimes at feeding time he would bop his head up out of the water. The blenny I had before him did similar things, so I think its pretty normal crazy blenny behviour. If he's eating normally and looks healthy I would say removing the wrasse from the tank has triggered a bit of a behaviour change in your blenny.
Off track but I went diving on the reef recently and saw a few blennies, they're just as crazy characters in the wild as they are in our tanks
