Minnows eat shrimp?

Hi!

I haven't found this yet on any other sites, so hoping some of ya'll might know. Will rosy red minnows eat ghost shrimp? I would like to add a couple shrimp, but not sure if the natives will eat them! lol

(Shrimp = spam for fish! Lol jk :spam:

And thank you to those of ya'll that informed me my rosy red 'goldfish' were minnows, Lol! I tried googling both of those and it seems there's no such thing as a rosy red goldfish! Strike one for the LHS! Actually more like strike 20... but who's counting? lol

I doubt they will eat adult ghost shrimp though they may try.

If you have the Ghost Shrimp from North America and they breed for you, the Rosey's will most likely pick off any fry. I've found that Ghost Shrimp tend to be very fast. It took our large convict almost 10 minutes to catch a single ghost shrimp. She eventually had to pin it in the corner.
