Hi all, im new to these forums and was wondering wether an IRC channel or server exists relating to Tropical Fish?
If so please let me know!
Or if there is enough interest or IRC users maybe a channel could be setup!

Dave :)

Well,

Since I help run a couple large Dallas centric channels on EfNet I also run #aquarium and #fish on Efnet. If people wanted to start using either I have botnets holding em and basically they just sit like a ghost town now.

If you drop in one just /msg the variations of "skippy" you see, if i'm around it's one of those accounts.

Hi Skippy

hehe, ive been idling in #aqaurium looking for action but no response so correctly presumed all other users were bots.
It would be really good to have an active channel for tropical fish enthusiasts i think!
So mIRC users "/j #aqaurium" !
And if you do not have mIRC download at http://www.mirc.com/get.html
use server - irc.choopa.net or any other Efnet server

I have my doubts wether this will ever get going but the foundations are there so I keep hopeing!!!

Good luck all!
Good stuff Skippy I though someone would have thought of this potentially great idea!!!

Dave :)

Yes. I have seen you in there and one or two other names drop in. I am still working on a web based interface for people who don't want to deal with a chat program like Mirc.

Just /msg whichever skippy you see in there, that's me. I can't promise i'm at my computer but I do try.

Feel free to use my IRC chat room over at irc.webchat.org #aquariumadvice

For those who do not have mIRC I have a java chat client at www.aquariumadvice.com/irc.php

There are three rooms to pick from with the java chat program. You can pick any of the three but #aquariumadvice might be the better of the three for freshwater discussions.

The chatroom is open to all visitors so you dont have to register to use the chat.
