has anyone used a mirror as a background for a tank?
Any experience with that?
Does it confuse the fish?
Make the tank look cluttered?
Does it mirror the other side of the room?
I thought it might be a cool idea, but wasnt sure about the fish.
What would be the best way to fasten a mirror to glass tank?

A friend of mine gave me his 90gallon tank and it had a mirror on the back. His fish didn't seem to mind it much at all. I did make the tank a lot heaver. I can't really remember what it looked like b/c the only time i saw it was when i went to pick it up from him and it was very dirty at that time. And when i got it home i took the mirror off. I now wish i left it on though.

if you have schooling fish they will get confused, or anything that likes to fight its own species like gouramis or betta's, personally i wouldnt use it...

I was thinking of using a mirror as back panel in my first built tank, but dropped the idea after seeing one that looked "too deep" to my liking.
