Yes, I understand. I had question and threads are like a book with a wealth of information and I find it best to see if there is a post out there to help me and if so to add on to it even if it is old.

I agree. Some threads that old may not be up to date with current information so it would be best to start a new thread. But water changes were just as important in 2007 as they are today so making a duplicate thread with the exact same question or thought would be a waste of space IMO.

So don't worry about it. It makes some people feel better about themselves when they insult others. There's no rule you can't reply to a thread from 2007. If there were, this forum would be set to lock threads automatically after a certain amount of time has passed.

Thanks for the reply as that makes a lot of sense. I will make sure I pay attention to the topic if I am on an old thread. For example, I have new lighting and I know that continues to change.

I appreciate you taking the time to respond as I have a lot of questions and I want to do what is correct. This is a great forum as members respond which is so important.
