Missing Fish

No other pets, and the tank is covered completely by the lighting fixture. He didn't jump.

Anyway, it has now been 9 days without so much as a glimpse of the triggerfish. I am sad to say that I am calling off the search. I still cannot find so much as a trace that he ever existed in the tank. No bones, no carcass, no ammonia or nitrate spikes, no nothing.

After 2 weeks and 3 days I think its safe to say that the trigger is dead.

Thanks. I just wish I had some sort of explanation for the thing's death. I mean, healthy fish don't just vanish into thin air! There is something I am missing, I know it. Water tests still show nothing. I think I'll give those scientists who keep looking for the Loch Ness monster a call. Maybe they can sonar scan the tank and locate the triggerfish.
