I aggree to a certain extent some of the people have been kinda run, especially that dude that says he hates tangs.

What an A$$.

But the majority of the people are also right about those tangs. I have a 55, 5 more gallons then you and all I have is a orchid dottyback, marron clown and a scotts fairy wrasse. No to mention i got 2 pepermint shrimp, one monkey shrimp and one cleaner shrimp.

Guess what? I'm tank is close to being, if not already maxed out.

I dunno if you've see full grown Powder blues but they get quite large. Your look at maybe a 90 gal at least to support them as they grow.

From my experiance, and what I've learned in the last 2 yrs in this hobby if fish dont have room to grow their immune systems drop dramtically and are easily exposed to harmfuel bacteria or fungal infections. This applies to FW and SW but SW for whatever reason is more delicate and larger fish waste away quicker if not given the room in the marine aqaria.

As always your welcome to do whatever you wish. No one is making you or at least I'm not to do something you dont want.

I just know what I know cause I've been there and its a real pain in the ars, especially moving all the rock work trying to catch the little buggers!!:p

But... My opinion on this while biting my tongue:

Trigger: You are ultimately free to do whatever you want. But it is always easier to accept the stories, and opinions of those that agree with you rather than go against what you want to hear. If you dont like the advice here, by all means google the internet and read about the 5 people who overload there tanks and have no problems and ignore the rest of us.

A lot of people dont realize that we help people out because we love the hoby and not because we are trying to make a buck.

Oh well, I think he is long gone which is really to bad.:(

I had a customer at my fish store tell me he has a 300gallon tank with over 75 butterfly fish in it. I may not be an expert but I couldn't see keeping more than 20 in a 300gal tank.

Dude, by all do respect, why ask to be booted? If you don't like it here, leave. Do the moderators necessarily HAVE to boot you out? Just stop coming back. I mean, even if you would get booted, you could still come back and re-register, in which case, there'd be no point of you getting booted.

You ask for advice, you get the right advice, and since the advice doesn't fit with the setup you have, you get pissed... So why ask for advice in the first place???

I've done so many mistakes, and wasted so much money before I finally had the "right" setup goin. It's all about learning... no need to get personal about it.
