Molly eggs?

hmm... did you add any live plants? CAE are unspawnable and those are not molly fry so the fry had to come from somewhere. If they're still in the tank remove the fry into a breeding net or seperate tank with tank water from the existing tank. The mollies and SAE WILL eat the fry.

Just noticing that since they were in a bubble mass, they could be betta eggs, could have hitched a ride in on plants or something. This is wierd, eggs don't just appear from nowhere.

yeah, there are couple of live plants.. now this is really an X-File! I'll keep monitoring the fry till they start to change into more obvious shape so you guys can recognise... it looks like pretty scary to me now... not molly, not CAE, eggs from elsewhere.. gosh!! hope it's not FW piranha.. LOL!!!

Deffinatelly getting wierd. Didn't consider the possibility that they could be hitch-hikers. Guess you'll just have to be patient and see how they grow. Will look forward to pics of their development.

alright... i'll get u guys posted on their growth...

Those look like molly fry to me.

Except for black mollies, most molly fry are tiny little clear critters until they get their color. Thye are definitely not CAE fry. CAE fry would be near the bottom, not the top, like almost every other bottom feeder spawned.

Definitely NOT betta fry.
Once hatched, betta fry are sooooo tiny for a couple weeks. And the bubble nest would not have made it on the trip from the LFS to home.
I say mollies too.
