No one probably cares but I'll share anyway. Last week I thought I only had 5 babies till they got big enough to pop out from the plants & rock shelf. It now looks like there is about 50 or more of them. It is a 30 gallon hexagon aquarium if anybody gets curious. I still have three females that are about to give birth soon.

Better get the fry tank set up. My swordtails and guppies gave birth in the same week. Two 5g's are full and both breeder nets are. Need to start selling and giving away babies when they grow a little. Good luck with all the fry.:)

same thing happened with my guppies in a 10g. I had so many I didn't know what to do with them.

I'm not sure Moesmom. I don't want to feed them to my large cichlids though.

cool! it is fun to raise fry, but it can be hard work.

i wish you the best of luck!

i would say leave them all in the main tank and let nature take its course, so to speak. some will get eaten, some will die off, some will survive and thrive. this way you can keep your population somewhat in check. oh wait, they're mollies........ uncheck that check. lol!

We need pics!
