so i went to my lfs and they had mondo grass i guess thats its name but i purchased some it looks ok now but, im wondering it doesnt look like a true aquatic kinda looks like some of the grass plants i have outside my home that grow like 30 in every spring, will it do ok submerged or should i move it to my turtle tank so most of it is above the water?

it is not truly aquatic, and will rot in your tank in about two months. It is the same as the grass you use as flowerbed borders. I would take it back and tell them they sold you something that isn't aquatic and get something that is. Go outside if you want some for your turtle.
i have an aquatic map turtle and i was just reffering to putting it in a rockwool cube so that the roots are under water and the plant above the surface
I dont know if it will still rot or not. I wouldnt use rockwool though, it might irritate him. try a plant weight.
This will work. Having the plant potted and grown partially submersed and emersed will be fine with this nonaquatic species.
