Mono Sebaes

I have my one brackish tank and fat ba$tard is the only one in there. I moved him to a 44 corner tank last week and it looked sooooo empty. I have wanted 3 mono sebaes. I walked into a new lfs and they had 3 mono sebaes!. For under $14.00 each! Well you know I walked out of there with those fish. Now I am looking for some archer fich and a few more other gobies to round the tank out. Thought I would share with you all.

Be prepared to be purchasing a very HUGE tank for all of those. Did you research their adult size?

Agreed, not to mention I believe they need full on SW when adults.

I have researched them and know that they need full salt as adults. And a larger tank. Since they are only the size of a dollar now I have the time to get a bigger tank for them when they need it. I also know that the archer gets quite large. I will definitely have the right home for all of them when the time comes. I also know that the monos will be a more aggressive when they get older. For now they are cute young ones. I know to research any fish before I decide to get it.

very cool. How large do they get and how big of a tank do you need for them?

I have a friend that had one for years and his got to be about 10 inch X 10 inches. I plan on getting a 100 gal at least for them.

I think you may need to kook into about 300-500.

Im very glad you researched them first...most people dont...but I agree that you'll need something a lot larger than 100g.

from your pics, i'm quite certain those are mono argentus, not sebae.
