I was just wondering if I have a 55 gal aquarium would it be a bad or good idea to also get a few mono sebea? If not then what would be reccommended?

Monos are schooing fish that grow to ~1'. A school of adults would need at least a 300g tank. Unless you plan on upgrading to quite a huge tank, I'd say it's a no-go. Nevermind that a GSP is a voracious fin-nipper & may kill the delicate mono. When your GSP gets up to marine conditions, you can consider a few damselfish or a tomato clownfish.

I had a mono with a large GSP (about the size of a jumbo egg) once and the mono actually bullied the GSP. The mono was a gift and I traded him to a lfs where he contracted some type of fin rot and died. I feel horrible as he was a beautiful fish, but it's my "puffer" tank, and he was LIFO.
