hard to tell man looks like it got hurt a bit they shouldnt really come from there. i suggest adding some kind of healing supplement like reef vital or combo vital if u can get some. all u can do is maybe move it to a bit more light and into less flow brains dont need to much flow. is anything picking at it. it looks like its trying to feed but there seems to be other openings where its insides are coming out.
it might be cutting its own skeleton what are ur water params?

Params are

PH 8.2
AMM 0
TRITE 0
TTRATE<5
CAL 400
KH 10

OK A phosphates test is in order, but I'll Have to have the LFS do it as I don't have that test

I may do another quick water change just in case

hey, germanman and i were jsut talking about this on AIM and here are some things we came up with as well as some questions:
i couldnt tell what the pic looked like and he suggested that it looked like the mesoderm or the insides of the coral. i agree that it does look like it, but to tell you the truth, i ahve never seen it come out of anywhere besides the mouth....
also, what are those red/orange thigns in the pics? i cant tell if it is somethign living or cyclopse eeze....
i dont think i would worry about it too much unless it has not healed by tomorrow a few hours after the lights come on.... definatly get your phosphates tested though

Cyclopse eeze it is. I feed my tank that and DT'S Premium reef blend on alternateing days.

Do you guys think there is any chance he just got mad about the water change since I only got him a few days ago??
