Seems I'm not the only one that wants to keep native speices in their tank
There are many "hook-n-line" fishing sites where the people have estuary tanks...
One interesting bit of info, I asked these folks what they would do if a speices of fish in their tank got too big.. Well, they equate it to collecting bait to be used for fishing; those baitfish are returned to nature all the time with no ill effects on the enviroment..
Another thing of interest was the fact that some use "beach" sand collected locally as substrate. Does anyone here have any insight into this? If using beach sand, would you rinse it in some kind way?
Well, I'm in the process of moving the freshies into a new (smaller) tank. I'll be converting the brackish tank in the near future!!!
