the rams may be ok with the Angels until either rams or angels go into spawn mode, it's at that time that both can be pretty aggressive with any other inhabitants in the tank, depending on their tolerances. Also, if you're looking at the rams as mid-water fish, vaheels is right, they tend to prefer it closer to the bottom of the tank over anything else.
 
I believe that the harlequin rasboras and cories come from waters that have a strong current so they propbably just like it.

I could be wrong, believe it or not it has been known to happen (not very often tho ;))
 
Often, fish prefer the moving water because it has a higher O2 content than the water that isn't as well circulated. Others feel safer in areas with lots of current--the surface agitation found in a streams riffles are great cover, and these are also the areas with the most current.

On plants--dwarf sag might do well. Agree on the terrestrials--you'll want to pull them out. Often they'll stay alive for months, but eventually run out of reserves and break down pretty quickly after that happens.
