Ok I've got a question. I have an 80 gallon container pond where I have 2 goldfish and one mosquito fish. I am planning on keeping the goldfish in the pond over winter. The larger one survived last winter and this would be the first time the other goldfish was kept over in the pond over winter. I plan on getting a pond heater for the it when it comes closer to fall. My question is would a mosquito fish survive over the winter if I kept her in the pond or should I bring her inside. Now, I've read that they can be nippy but both the goldfish she is with seem fine..... I mean it doesn't seem like she bothers them at all. If she does need to be brought inside over the winter would she be ok in a 20 gallon tank with two small goldfish? The goldfish in the 20 gallon are a black moor and a comet goldfish. The comet is about an inch and a half and the black moor is almost an inch maybe a little over an inch big right now. The mosquito fish is use to eating goldfish flakes and looks very healthy.
