Most Peaceful Fish Out There

corries and ottos are pretty peacefull. danios most of the time, I had one that killed more fish, including a betta.

chocolate gouramis are dificult fish but peaceful... pearl and snakeskin gouramis are said to be peaceful, but I wouldn't trust them with anything that would fit in their mouths.

pristilla or x-ray tetras are only fiesty if attacked and they have really small mouths

my otos would not and have not ever picked on my other fish or done any harn, so I vouch for them, but I'm also for cories because I have the same experience with them too.

I thought ottos were peaceful until they started eating away at the slime coat od my Discus. Had to get rid of them. I have yet to witness a nasty corrie.

Otos are very peaceful. There aren't too many fish more accomodating than the oto. When they are going for the slime coat of discus, that isn't malevolence. They aren't really attacking the discus. They are just foraging.

What about Discus? For their size they are rather peaceful, aren't they?

How about an African Butterfly (I think it's African, always stays at surface and will jump out of the water if you are not careful)?

Blue Rams and Platies are in a different class from that list of super peaceful species...

I'm pretty sure the temperatures did them in... But, they are delicate..

I have about 200 of them, and I've never ever seen one fight. I'm sure if you threw in a fish with a really nice tail something might happen but as long as you have fish that are compatible then it's all good. My gouramis are really peaceful, they don't do anything at all. lol.

They are peaceful fish, but like you said....thats provided they are placed with their own kind. Like another member stated, I have yet to see a Corydora attack other fish.
