So I have 5 Silver Dollar that are in a tank with a ph of down close to 6.0. They are going into a tank that is slightly more than twice the size of the one they're in right now but has a pH of about 7.4 or so, and until now has just been my feeder tank.
I guess the best way to do this is
1) take out a bunch of water from the bigger tank, and add the buffer I have (7.0 buffer)
2) do a nice slow transfer into the new tank
3) then dump all the water from the transfer bag or whatever I use into the bigger tank
I can't think of a better way to do it without buying some crazy pH lowering buffer. Anyone got an opinion?
