YAY!!!

Was a little concerned for you - the last one I heard bout was a BIG beastie, ended up with cracked bottom and many MANY gallons on the carpet and an EXTREMELY angry wife!!

Might be tempted to do the same with my 15g.... See who turns up on the day!! Orrrrr not....

With the small tanks we have, we simply drain down to about 2-3 inches of water, and add it back with fresh once the move is completed. More or less a water change once it's done.

Larger tanks - 10g and larger - would be emptied totally, simply because of the weight factor. Also, larger tanks are awkward to handle, so empty is best.
