I use CF (compact flos) and I have one nice mushroom starting to grow or at least I thought it was. For the few days he was big and open. Now it shrunk a little and is not as big.

It under direct lighting in the deeper part of the tank. Does it need more light? Or is it getting too much light??

All my lvls are perfect.

info

ph is 8.2 salinty is 1.022 amm 0 nit. 0 nitra 0

total light is 110 watss per 12 hrs a day or around there. i have to check for sure how much light i'm puting out. But I was told by my LFS that they be all right under compact flos.

any ideas? or input?

They will move themselves when they find either lighting or currents that suit their needs. I have them all over my tank and have to harvest just to keep the colonies down. I used to run just compacts but since I added MH they have double in size and quantity.
If some one lived in my area come on over and pick some up. Also you can have a hand full of star polyps.
