My 5 year old daughter wanted to make a contribution to the fish tank so she had these two toy turtles she wanted to include. At first the fish wouldn't leave them alone, they kept knocking them around but the fish finally chilled out and there they set.
There is another one to the right of the big clam shell (My wifes contributions from Hawaii, I think), but it got kinda mushed into the gravel by the vacuum and I have been to lazy to reach in and reset it. Oh well, whatcha gonna do.

I have contributions to my tanks from my 2 yr old as well...some of the most random things have ended up in my tanks for a few days just to please him....we had quite an arrangement of GI Joes in the 90 gal freshwater not to long ago...sorta looked like I scene from Saving Private Ryan...then after a few days he wanted them out to play with lmao
Yep, the plants are fake. I don't think I could undertake the stress of trying to change everything over to live plants. I'm still getting over the whole cycling issues.
