About 2 months
While on vacation my heater broke killed all the fish except the picasimus
I am hoping I don't over crowd this 55 gal tank
But I do i have another 55 tank that is not set up
This is my first time doing African cichlids

A single heater failed and over heated the tank? You might try two smaller heaters next time.

Nice looking fishes. Not sure if a 55gal is enough for Africans, but good luck. I know very little about African Cichlids, but I do recognize the Peacocks and Yellow Labs.

Good looking tank. I had Cichlids a few years back in a 125 g tank. They are sure fun to watch and very colorful. We had to move and a friend of mine bought the tank and all. It was a bear to move.
