I just purchased my first aquarium, it is a 55 gallon tank. I spent the weekend designing and building the DIY 10 gallon wet/dry sump filter setup.
The filter will be using round scrubbie pads(about 50-60 of them), poly pad, and some bio gravel.
I am planning on stocking the tank with loaches, barbs, cats, and sharks.
So far the equipment i will be using is:
-Hydor L40 Pump
-600 GPH overflow box
-Hydor 300 watt inline heater
-200-500 gph Flow meter
Hopefully I will be building a stand for it tomorrow and setting tank up by the weekend
