Is this normal?

He has flakes for entree, sinking pellets for main, and when i drop the cucumber for the snail, he eat's the white inside squishy bit in the middle of the cucumber.

Am I not feeding him enough?

I guess he likes it. Mine seem to taste everything that goes into the tank. Just make sure he's getting enough protein - they are more carnivorous. Are the sinking pellets shrimp-based?

I've seen them munch on veggies at times. I think they do it or they know they won't get desert!

Hmmm, interesting.

Yes the sinking pellets are shrimp based.

He was so greedy today, he kept stealing the cucumber from the snail. The poor little snail couldn't climb onto his cucumber so I had to keep "bribing" the angel with pellets to keep him away from the cucumber while the snail climbed on.

LOL, and yes, sometimes desert is frozen bloodworms.

angels are fine in a planted tank..as a matter of fact they are at ease in a planted tank..they like structure.

they do munch on veggies from time to time..they will eat soft peas and mine like algae tabs..as to the discus and keyholes.
mine will bite at some plants but they rarely do any harm.

The only green's my angel eats is the snail's food.
Maybe he see's the cories and snail going for it and thinks it must be good stuff.
It's like he wants to join in the party or something.
