-- these are the pictures from craigslist. I will post more when I have them in my possession and settled into new homes

they were rescued by someone else who had them up for free on craigslist, she originally had 3 but one was already adopted.

I'm going to divide a 20 gallon into thirds for these 2 and my current betta. Would that be enough space?

the sections will have sand substrate and be lightly planted.

That should work out great. Congrats!!!

5-6g (after divider/substrate) will be perfect!! What sort of divider are you going to use?

Looks like they'll be beautiful once they perk up a bit!

Best Regards,
Patrick

Also -

Why do you keep finding all the good stuff on CL? The beautiful filter when you needed it for your 55, the 29g, now these? Grr.

Best Regards,
Patrick

Where do I apply for that job? Does it pay more than the 2 I have to work now..?

OR - we could work something out where you scour sfbay.craigslist.org for me ;) Daily alerts with good deals in my area could work..

Best Regards,
Patrick

I have no problem doing that :)

just be sure to qt the new bettas before you put them in the divided tank with your current one!

How long do you recommend to qt them?

Usually a quarantine lasts from 2-4 weeks because that allows them to acclimate to your water conditions as well as gives you a chance to examine them for any signs of illness.

Your choice as to whether or not you can wait that long! :)

Best Regards,
Patrick
