I don't know what happened. It is in a 60 gl tank with 5 angels, couple neons, cories and small knife.. There are 3 rams, but my biggest one is missing an eye today.. it is freaky. I don't have aggressive fish, they have all been together for 3 months. just did a water change 3 days ago. Not sure what happened. I did see the 2 rams, ramming each other, but a missing eye??

Itll be fine, my angels eye got hazy swollen and (i medicated) but it popped and now is missing an eye but does totally fine

You say you have I knife? I have heard that they like taking eyes out from one user, so that could be your culprit.

Even if the ram got a little too "up in the face" of one of the angels they could have plucked that eye out, or fighting with the other ram could do it, or as Manafel said, the knife.

Just watch that there is no infection and keep the water quality top notch and it should be fine. I would worry about it happening again though, it is a sign of aggression going on in the tank somewhere.

Pretty sure your knife is to blame...Can't really keep a knife with community fish :/

okay I have been gone most the day, but it is popeye. I researched it and it is a big cloudy bubble over the eye. I did a 50% water change today because my nitrates were high so I added some ammonia deoxifer stuff the guy from PetCo told me to use.I had just done a 50% water change 3 days ago too.
What elses should I do for popeye? My ram is swimming around and eating like crazy so it is not acting sick, rather just looks kinda freaky tho.
My knife is a little baby, about 3 inchs and never leaves it cave.
