my breeding pair of discus

I'm jealous. I'd give an eyetooth to get involved in discus breeding. Good fun and it'd help support my bad habit. I'm half scared to even try keeping them just because of how expensive they are.

I'll have to rob you... I mean... uh... where do you live?

ive always wanted to keep breeding angels or discus... can you tell us how you got them? did you go to a breeder or what? and can you tell us more about the tanks?

im with general... where DO you live hmm...

discus arent that hard to keep...adults are even easier. Yes, they can be a bit pricey, but if you have a breeding pair and do things right, they can pay for your hobby easily. PM me if anyone wants to know where to get some NICE breeding sized adults.

My name isn't spelled General it is spelled genral Misspelled it on another site when I was younger and decided it was cool so I kept it. Plus it is easier to remember the same name. :D

Breeding angels is easy. Go buy 6-10 small angels and throw them in a big tank and raise them. After they get so old they will pair off. Move them into a breeding tank and feed them high protein foods. Give it a little time and you should have some eggs. Raising the fry is actually the hard part. With some patience you should get some that survive. Just make sure give your fish excellent water quality. If you do not, your fish will suffer and it stinks when you have a breeding pair that dies. Trust me!
