As I type this, they are at it. They caught my attention when they were cleaning the vertical part of some LR at the base of their host. Bozo, (the larger female who was the rejected male from another tank) started to rub herself against the rock, followed closely by Quazzie, an un-sexed Clarkii introduced a few years back for being the smallest of a group guaranteeing that he had not been sexed. He (or it) got the name because of a facial deformity.. bless.. I didn't really pick him as such, but the one that looked normal, but I didn't watch them bag him at the LFS.. well what can you do? Anyway, there is lots of orange eggs, and it's just very cute. I would post a photo, unfortunately got broken into last week and had my SLR stolen... funny though, because I was complaining about some of the features about it that annoyed me. EOS 5D coming up soon.

Thanks for your words.

Would like to set up another tank to see if I can raise them as from what I have read it seems that they won't survive in a display tank with power heads, predators etc. I have another tank which I was going to drill and setup in a wall cavity for seahorses, this again would be plumbed through the floor to the main sump, but I don't think I will have enough time.

All in all we were very lucky with the BI. First time, yuck feeling, but most things of value are actually sentimental which they don't touch (or break). I guess they are only valuable to us.

Quazzie is being a very diligent daddy to be.. to cute.
