My Commet has translucent scales??

Hi all
Yet another thing to worry about! In the last few weeks my commet has developed see thruough/translucent scales, there are only three that i can see. The scales seem th be healthy ie: correct shape/size, the fish does not seem to be sick.

has anyone seen this or have any idea what causes this??

Several of my large goldfish have what are called nacreous scales. They are a mixture of metallic and translucent scales and are perfectly normal. Some have them from the time they are babies, some develop them later.

Sounds normal to me. I would not worry about it.
