i've just put live rock and a cocoa toadstool leather into my 30 gallon aquarium and it doesn't look happy. it extends its tenticle things for 30mins around 3 times a day then retracts them. is that normal? it hasn't been doing its tenticle thing since yesterday and i'm worried that i may have some how killed it. i understand that they need light so i have had my aquarium lights on for 8 hours a day. do they need any special food? do they like a high end salt reading or a lower one? i also have a stow away crab living in the tank, 1cm big, that is eating the live rock slowly. will the crab hurt my leather?
some one please suggest some thing asap before my coral dies.
i can't find any information on how to take care of it.
