And the reason for all my previous posts :D

I went out and purchased some more plants tonight, as well as a betta, and a coralife Aqualight Digital Power Center (WAF was LOW for this purchase)

The tank is still cycling, but I have decided to go with a silent cycle.

Currently the tank has some cabomba, some honeywort, moneywort, bacopa(not sure which one specifically) the large sword, and some red ones which I forget the name of... but I would know it if someone said (typed) it... red... something... possibly red water something.

everything was planted tonight, and the betta was acclimated by slowly adding tank water to his cup and pouring it out, also the cup was left floating in the water for about 20 mins between each "water change"

I also performed a small water change, roughly 25%, mostly to remove a bunch of garbage that had been accumulating on the bottom.

well, without further adue, the tank, and some plant pics.

Can anyone try to identify the red plant in the last picture, with the blurry betta in it. I'll remember if I see some names.

Not much to go off of but I'm guessing it's Alternanthera reineckii, red temple plant.

You should get some more plants, you'll have a much easier time against algae with more plants.

It looks great! I know you have been working hard on this and your daughter must be very pleased. Those plants will fill in with no time at all!

Looks good! If I ever get another betta, it will definitely be a red one; they look so pretty against the green plants. And those digital power centers are great.

it had better be, for $40 :)

I dont really know how to scape it though.... most of the plants were planted randomly until they get some roots, and fill out a bit, then I can move them around.... but im not sure how to arrange them though.

the little guy loves the plants however, he swims in and out of them all day long lol.

I agree on the plant - A. reineckii var. rosefolia

usually mislabeled teleranthera at PS

Re power strip - is there any way you can take it back?
