This morning after I showered, i stuck a Q-tip in my right ear, and now, I can't hear well. It feels like it's got water inside... It's starting to drive me nuts.. someone here said i have to go to the doctor. Do any of you know if it'll go away, or do I have to go to the doctor ???

thanks...

Tilt your head to the side your eat is "filled with water" so that ear is pointing down. Jump up and down and rock your head side to side trying to rock the water out. Keep doing it and you will feel it dripping out, it takes a few jumps and rocks to get it out so yeah. If not, go see a doctor.

cheech, I think you should go to the doctor.... the ear and hearing is nothing to mess with. If you stuck the q-tip in "that" far where it may have damaged something on the inside, the sooner you go, the better. Side note and a little late now, you shouldn't stick the q-tip in "that" far.... ;)

honey try a little medical advice before you knock your equillibrium to heck and back by jumping up and down like a lunatic.
Take a bottle of alcohol (not the drinking type), put some on a q-tip and let the alcohol slide in your ear gently. keep your ear tilted to let the alcohol slide in your ear, it will feel very warm..............it works by mixing with the water and evaporating it quickly, taking care of the problem.
;)

well it is actually something that a doctor told my mom to do if she got wter in her ears, just a little bit and it knocks her equillibrium off and she gets a tad dizzy...........now she just wears ear plugs in the shower:D

Thanks everyone. . .

Tip, i found an empty office and started jumping around, lol.. but that didn't work. . .

GEL, I doubt it's water though,, i think it's wax that I pushed too far in. You think the alcohol will still work?

by the way, thanks guys, for the quick info. . . :)

Oh and Doll, I knew I shouldn't have, and people have told me not to, and I tell people not to, but this time I couldn't help it. . . just stuck it in there. . . :) Won't happen again though . . .

hehehe, I can't say I'm not guilty of temptations ;) good luck, bud

Yea, Wax was gonna be my guess too. My hubby recently did the same thing and he couldn't hear well for days before he finally asked me to look in his ear. I could see it with a flashlight in his ear. He went to the store and bought one of those ear-wax removal kits.... problem solved.

WHO'S READY FOR BREAKFAST!?? YUMMY!!
