Again, very cute! Maybe "he's" a girl with that figure...Can you see a gonopodium? I thought they'd hide more but yours don't seem to.
hmm from what i herd males have a thick front ray on there anal fin ..witch looks like the one in the video could be a male ill have to get a good look at the smaller one next it is out.

but my cute former lfs catfish guy said the gonopodium is hard to see, more like a little bump as opposed to a guppyish one.

They're pretty awesome when they're on the hunt for food, but sometimes they make me kinda nervous when they have a full belly and are laying sideways to relax! Do yours do that?

Oooh, maybe it was tatia my lfs guy & I were discussing with the gonopodium "bump"...we need some up close & personal shots of your wood cats Kaosu.
They're only supposed to get about 5" as well. Mine aren't full size yet, but aren't growing nearly as fast as yours- I suspect you feed more frequently.
I just found this article on Planet Catfish about the honeycomb cat that shows images of male and female anal fins. I'm guessing this is what fishorama was referring to. Now I'm going to have to go see if I can tell what I have! (These catfish are all in the auchenipteridae family.)
