Hey Everyone,

I was going to create a Plant tank in a 20 gallon tank. I was going to see how that would work out. I need some suggestions on some plants to use for the tank. I was thinking Moss or some Sort of Dwarf. But Im not sure I may Put some Baby Plecos in there as well actually just 1 pleco because I would not want to over crowd the tank or anything.

All I need are some suggestions on some plant species I should get. Priceing is not an object so please help me out here.

Also I need to know what kind of Equipment would best suit the plant tank and keep my plants nice and Healthy throughtout there life.

Thanks.

Yeah, I was already thinking bout putting that in, But what equipment do you need to keep the plant's healthy. And thanks for the input.

What I mentioned are undemanding since they are low-light plants. No CO2 needed. Javan moss can be situated anywhere else in your tank and they'll established on their own accord. Tie the anubias on woods.

I would suggest java fern instead of anubias. Anubias grow slowly and may be prone to lots of algae on their older leaves. Java fern, on the other hand, does good in low light and great at higher light, and grows quickly anywhere. It doesn't require any ferts, although they do help. It grows even faster when tied to real wood as opposed to an artificial decoration.

Java fern and java moss are among hte easiest to grow, all you need on your tank is decent lighting and since on your 20 gallon i would reccomend at least 30 watts of light on it, for a wider choice of plants.
